Yay~ Im back from Acen. The con itself was a complete and total bust, however I was thrilled to get out of Indiana for a while and spend some time with my friends.

Long story short, Acen was terrible this year. Late events, canceled events, crowds that they obviously didnt prepare for, lines from one end of the hotel to the other, nightmarish elevators, and annoying hotel staff.

I didnt get to see a single event on Saturday. I spent my entire time waiting in lines....Then they would come out and tell us that after letting in half the line, the events were full. So i'd go wait in another line for a differant event, only to be LATE..therefore ending up at the back of the line, so when the staff came out and said THAT event was full, I was in the same spot. After being turned away from 2 events, and waiting an houra and a half for a 3rd one, I just said screw it and went back upstairs for the night.

This morning we left early. Packed up at about 10:30...Tried from then until noon to get a baggage cart and leave. Finally got one after calling, and calling, and calling, and CALLING the hotel staff to hurry the hell up, and we were on the road again.

I spent more time in the hotel room this year then I think I have any other year. But oddly enough, Im not all that upset about it. I got to spend time with my roomies, and make new friends in the process.

There are so many things I need to be doing right now...Sleeping, and updating my LJ are sooooooo NOT. ONE. OF THEM.. x_x

Blah..Leavin tomorrow afternoon. Still gotta shower, pack everything, do the dishes here and give the dolls a quick once over with a sponge of some sort.

Its funny..the thing im excited about the most, is not having to work for the busiest days of the week. Starting tomorrow morning at 10am.

You know..it never really occured to me to think about what i'd do if my boss said that i CANT have 4 days off in the middle of May...and then 3 more at the beginning of June....after only being back from a 6 week absence for a few weeks..


I need to save some money...so i can bribe my workmates to cover it for me...

note to self: be extra nice to chris when you get back..and do WHATEVER he wants until May and June..

if i do him a ton of favors..and give him an extra $50 for each trip then maybe he'll do it..

Im going to Acen without a doubt...But if I cant suck up fast enough when i go back to work..i may not be ABLE to go to the doll party in June...shit...

so these past four days have been some of the greatest fun ive had in a long time..this was amazing..it was such a jam packed jumble of FUN shit going on that its kinda leaving me in shock...

Tomorrow sahkypoo goes home back to michigan...we plan to wake up early, take a feeeew more pictures and then she will be on her merry way...and i'll be posting up 3 pages worth of doll pictures...and hopefully a few that arent just dolls too.

This has been so much fun. Today me and her went and got some chinese food for lunch..then came home and passed out before going to the movies with Aya, Ken, Ben, and Kat..and at the movie itself, we found Carly...

The movie was packed so we ended up having to split up. Aya, Ken, Kat, and Ben sat with Carly in the middle of the theater..and Sakhmet and I sat up in the left corner because we had no other choice.

The movie we went to see was Freedom Writers....That is an amazing movie. And it made me kinda sad..and made me regret that I quit because im THAT much of a pansy...I got nothin on the kids in the movie and I still quit.

I cried through almost the ENTIRE MOVIE..because I could see my old school SO well in all that mess...and it made me so sad...and made me kinda guilty that I forget so easilt that everybody has problems in life that make them the way they are..People like me just DONT understand anything..but I form an opinion anyway..

Good. Good. EXCELLENT. GREAT movie. The movie night rating scale that we always use at the end of a movie (1-10 ten being a DAMN good movie) got a 12 out of 3 of us tonight...the others were 8's and 9's....

Amazing movie...I'm definitly gunna get the DVD of that one when it first comes out...screw discount prices way after its released.

Sakhmet also brought the lamecube that i bought from her...so I now know the insane LOVE that is Zelda, Twilight Princess. Im on the last bit of the Monkey dungeon thingy if anyone cares.

Kat ran me over and made me scream "watch the BOOOOOBS >__<" when she found out i had the game. So...she has her own file now

I shall be seeing her lots i imagine <3

anywho....Sakhmet goes home tomorrow..and then i wont be doing anything like this again until acen when i see her again..

I love having friends come over like this...its so satisfying.

meh..my throat is raw and ive gotten on a tangent of talking about the lost boys..i should got to bed y'all...nightnight...now with more rabu >w<~

hmm..yanno what...for acen this year..i think i'll try something completely new...

Screw the Yohji idea...im gunna do something bigger and better. Oh hells yes.

Ive got the rest of january all of february..march..april and the beginning of may to start and finish..it cant be TOO hard to make something respectible in that time frame, could it?

Plus ive got Goodwill two shakes to the left of me.

Halfway through the night i said meh fuck it and tore apart my tower of leaning-back pillows and just laid the way i normally would.

I still feel nauseous as all hell..but i feel better at least. I want..a SALAD..with lots of stuff in it..hmmmmm

Oh, and im also slowly but steadily collecting Acen roomies. So far the count is up to 2..and methinks im going to make them split the deposit cost and give it to me so they cant flake off and be evil, leaving me stranded.

Im hoping to collect one or 2 more people and then I shall demand cash from all of them and close applications. Because im just that popular you see.
